Train tickets to Croatia cannot be purchased. "Please be patient"

There are only three weeks left until the first train from Warsaw to Rijeka departs. Although tickets should theoretically appear in the carrier's system a month before the run, they still cannot be purchased. However, the connection is visible in the timetable, and PKP is asking for time. "Ticket sales for train no. 1277 will be launched in the near future. Please be patient and follow the updates on our website," we read on the website.

There are no tickets for the train to Croatia

Passengers who would like to buy tickets for the train from Warsaw to Rijeka now are still unable to create a reservation. The connections that will be operated every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from 27 June are already visible in the system, but when selecting them, neither the price nor the option to purchase are displayed. The carrier did not specify when exactly the sale would start, and many passengers expected it to happen at least a month before the first trip. However, the media reports that information on the sale date may appear tomorrow, Friday 6 June.

20 hours of travel

Passengers who start their journey at Warszawa Wschodnia station will reach Rijeka after exactly 20 hours and 19 minutes of travel. This is a very long distance, and the number of couchettes and sleeper cars will be limited. Most passengers will have to travel seated.

Unfortunately, the lack of clear information regarding ticket purchases may cause some impatient passengers to decide to travel by plane. Flights may win over the train not only due to shorter travel time, but also price. The cheapest train tickets to Croatia will start from PLN 193. Travel with a couchette will cost at least PLN 301.
